Wyley, Enda
(1966- )
   Born in Glenageary, County Dublin, she received an M.A. in creative writing from Lancaster University, England. Her poems are in many anthologies, including Field Day Anthology of Irish Writing (2002) and Irish Women's Writing and Tradition, Vols. 4 and 5 (2002). She was awarded bursaries in literature from the Arts Council of Ireland and Chomhairle Ealaíon in 1997 and 2001. She has twice been a winner in the British National Poetry Competition and was the inaugural recipient of the Vincent Buckley Poetry Prize. In 2003 she published Boo and Bear, a children's book illustrated by Greg Massardier. Some of her poetry publications: Eating Baby Jesus, 1994. Socrates in the Garden, 1998.
